The Lighthouse MHS LLC
Lighthouse Services for
First Responders
Being a First Responder is a calling. It's your purpose! You are the Heroes of our communities! You have a passion for the job, however, having to work long shifts, mandatory overtime, families misunderstanding shift work, and miss spending time with your loved ones is beginning to take its toll on you and the relationships in your life.
It has been normalized for you to function and respond to another call after having experienced one of the most traumatic calls of your life! You want your loved ones to understand the things that transpire throughout your day and why you need time to decompress. You just desperately want for your life to just flow the way it once did after a shift.
Everyday you leave the comfort of your home to face the most difficult of situations. And face individuals who do not value and appreciate the work you do and the safety you provide. So you are left wondering, who is taking care of me?
Here, at The Lighthouse MHS, our main mission is to provide you with the foundation of peace and purpose on the job and in your life! We understand the various situations you encounter and how those situations remain within you because you do not feel you can share them with others.
The Lighthouse MHS is here to provide you individualized and specialized services to address your mental health and relationship needs. You deserve to be seen and heard in a safe and encouraging environment with supportive counselors that serves your needs and the needs of your loved ones.
We are here to assure the profession you have selected is the perfect one for you and that the great person you are at your core continues to serve others!
Thank you for your service!

Hearts Behind the Badge
On Monday, April 29, 2024, the U.S. Marshals Task Force were attempting to serve a warrant to a male subject in North Carolina. As officers approached, the subject discharged his firearm striking multiple officers. Four officers succumbed to their injuries. One of them, a U.S. Deputy Marshal.
This tragic incident was particularly difficult for me as the love of my life is a
U. S. Deputy Marshal. When I received the notification on my phone, my heart sank. I immediately texted him, "Is everything alright?" Every emotion ran through me. My world was not in peace until his response came through. And it was this day The Lighthouse MHS -Hearts Behind the Badge was created.
Hearts Behind the Badge is a support group for the spouses and families of First Responders. Hearts Behind the Badge provides its members the opportunity to build community with other First Responder loved ones. We come together to inform and educate each other about being part of a First Responder community. Being each other's support provides us with the best resources to support and love our First Responder even more!
